Documenting Gowing’s Swamp in Concord, Massachusetts, from winter to spring 2023. A site often frequented by Henry David Thoreau and noted throughout his journals, this series is accompanied by journal entries by Thoreau, photographs of the area by Henry Gleeson, and an essay, Quaking Bog, originally published on Caught by the River.
